I was born disabled & am in a wheelchair - My Mom died a yr & a half ago....I became friends with her & she betrayed me & took my kids with the help of Children family services (I cannot afford a lawyer because me & hubby make too much even tho we only bring home $1,045 BUT we make too much for the court to appoint one) I asked every lawyer in the area to defend me & they all said it would cost over $1000 .....Someone rear ended my brand new car & screwed up my back even more.......
Why shouldn't I kill myself so I can't feel this horrible pain anymore???

because it will eventually go away, killing yourself is way to much cure for the sickness. It wont do any good, and you would leave someone else with debt or your funeral expenses. but you can just look for more ways then killing yourself to work this out. if your really depressed, i would suggest talking to the HOPE counselour (sp??) he can and will help you out with your problems. finacially and emotionally. here the site www.dmlive.com ( though id think you have to be 25 and under, im sorry if your over 25) you can try it though even if your older. please dont kill yourself, dont do that to yourself and your family, you may feel hopless but you have family who loves you... and suicide is a mistake you cannot fix. jus talk to someone and work your way out of your problems.

Stuff happens... sorry you got the rude end of life, but killing yourself won't solve the greater problem. What about the gaping hole you'd leave in your child's life? Your husband's? Do you really want your mom to raise your kid? Because if you kill yourself, you have no chance whatsoever to change this. Turn that hopelessness into productive rage. Make a mark in the world. And show everyone that you are better than this. Trust me, you may not think so now, but you ARE a valuable human being, and robbing your loved ones of your affection, support, and even your mere presence in the room--forever--is not going to do anything but prove your mother right. There are several org's that help parents with disabilities.

Love and eternal hope,

You know what, it sounds like you are just plain feeling sorry for yourself. Whenever I even think of doing that, I look around and can always find someone worse off than me. I believe everything happens for a reason. You may not see it at first, but eventually everything fits into place.

If you are thinking of killing yourself, you need to seek help immediately somewhere other than here. You need to find a helpline that you can call to get proper advice. I am not an expert, but I'd say if you have a husband and children, you have several reasons right there to live. Do you have a doctor who could help you? There are wonderful medications to help with depression. You never know what tomorrow may hold. Please hang on to wait for better days. I am a Christian, so I recommend praying to God for help and reading the Bible for help and answers and comfort. You matter to God, you matter to your husband, and you matter to your children. Please, call a suicide helpline!

Killing yourself isn't the answer. I would suggest getting a therapist. Get some proffesional help with depression, like a psychiatrist.
