I love my g/f with all of my heart and I wanna get her a really nice ring. She already knows I love her without the ring, but would it help to get her one.

For me, I always thought that the guy I am with should know what kind of ring I want instinctively. Some girls like the flash, other girls hate jewelry or hate the fuss. Rather than focusing on getting a really nice ring to exude your love, u should focus on getting her a ring that suits her best. One that speaks of her personality. Cause in the end no matter how big the rock, its the connection & thought that counts.

A ring is only a symbol. If you really love her, show her on a daily basis. A ring is nice, but to have a man who loves you means all the difference. There are several women wearing rings from men who do not care for them. Express your love all over.

a ring is not necessary to prove/show your love. i'm sure your gf wouldn't mind getting one tho :) it is a nice way to symbolize your love for her and make a commitment showing you you want to be with her...here's my ex: my bf gave me a promise ring before he went off to school in chicago (from minnesota where i go to school) and we are still together for over 2 1/2 yrs...it was really nice to get even though i already knew how much he loves me!

Is this a promise ring or engagement ring? If not don't do it...spend your money on her but don't waste it on a ring...take her to a nice dinner or something else special to her.

No. You show your love in all of the ways that you feel comfortable. She should recognize that you love her regardless of what size rock you get her.

yea it would show her that u care enough to spend that much money on her however its also like buying her love so i would buy it and show her how much i care just on how u act around her. respect her thoughts and take her places that she wants 2 go
