If a regular man who is straight shaves his pubic area it is very itchy. Can men just realize that being busy like a bear is sexy for them. It is manly. Women want to be with men. We would be with lipstick lesbians if we did not. It makes their shaft into a cactus and it very uncomfortable. Just be a bear. If you want to shave something shave the pits so you do not stink as much.
Why do men shave pubes and is this only men that have been coruped by the CA scene at some point in their lives?

My current boyfriend has hair. I praise him for it every chance I get. His friend with the man purse told me he dose not like I needed to know that. It just brings back bad memories of the cactus boyfriend

Shaving makes me more itchy I should know my ex made me do it and it makes us look like old people. Because when we get old our public hair naturally falls out.

It is okay if this is an esthetic thing between gay men. That is fine if it is a cultural thing you like. I just do not like it. I do not live in CA and when a CA guy brings it to my mellow state and tells me I have to deal with it it sucks.

Then this same CA dude says I cannot get a pedicure or paint my toes because it is too high maintence it is just too much. I feel too controled. It is just too many rules. I have to shave my pubes, and deal with his, but yet I cannot have painted toe nails which I love? What the f*** This is just too much control and why all these rules.

To the people who are worried about crabs and lice. Just shave your head hair off too what are you doing that is so dirty that you are getting crabs anyway and your kids are getting crabs. Yuck. Also I feel more sweaty and itchy with no hair. I think a trim is great, but being bald is horribly uncomfortable.

I think that men should trim. I am a woman and I trim once a week. I think shaving sucks because of razor burn and stubble, but a good trim leaves some hair and make the going down action a lot better. It also airs out the area making it smell better. I think that my boyfriend's area looks a lot sexy shaved because I don't want to see a huge black scraggly hair ball. That to me is nasty. I am all for men with trimmed pubic hairs!

I don't think there is anything wrong with a man who shaves below the belt. I actually kind of appreciate it. I mean, think about it... How attractive is having hair in your teeth? How annoying is it when you DO get hair in your mouth?
In life, sometimes we have to make sacrifices. I think that any guy who does shave his nether-region, is probably comfortable and consistent enough with his personal hygiene to maintain his pubic area without having to be told to.
Should you find that he is slacking in his maintenance of his bikini area, maybe it wouldn't be too terribly obnoxious to ask him to trim it or shave before you get on and do your bareback riding. I dunno, I guess. Everybody's different. Some people are rather shy about such things. I don't happen to subscribe to that school of thought. I believe the squeaky wheel gets the oil, so if you're uncomfortable, you should definitely say something. Otherwise, why even bother to be involved with anyone on that level?
The decision of to shave or not to shave has always been a personal one. It's just really up to the individual and what makes them feel comfortable, in my opinion. There is something a little different when both parties involved in sexual activities, are shorn. Some actually feel that it heightens sensation in the pubic area once the hair is gone, because it's 100% skin-to-skin contact.
I'm not a big fan of body hair. So, I shave too. Fortunately, nature has included a friendly reminder known as "stubble" to remind me when it's time to shave again. When the hair down there starts growing back, it does tend to be irritating and itchy... So, either you maintain it, or you let it run wild. It's kind of like a lawn, really. You're either going to take care of it, or you're not.
So, in closing, I guess I don't think it's disgusting when men shave their pubic area. I honestly believe it's actually cleaner and more hygienic than letting the hair run wild. Hair is notorious for trapping odor and other substances which can contribute to olfactory complaints, excessive perspiration, and parasites.

It's not disgusting. No one says it's disgusting when women shave their pubes off.
And it does, in fact, make the tool look bigger!!! It already is, but why camoflage that length with a bunch of pubes?

You must love pulling hairs out from between your teeth. Of course he shouldnt shave it all off but a nice close trim is better and looks so much cleaner too. Without all the long hair to be poking them they wont be itching so much and grabbing thier balls in public.

No,not at all. When I go down on a lady, I don't want to find a big ol' bush and I assume she expects the same.
