its hard when you have to deal with their children's jealousy, but trust me, they get over it... you just have to have a lot of patience, and talk to the child... tell him you are not trying to take his dad's place, and that you would like to try to be friends with him. and that you care a lot for his mom and are not trying to hurt her. tell him and show him that you are a nice guy and soon he will come around. if you think she is worth it, keep trying... he'll back off soon, he is just very overprotective of his mom... and doesnt know how to share her.
