Is there a refference to anything like "N.I.B."? I was listening to a song by Black Sabbath, and it made a few Biblical refferences. And the name of said song is N.I.B. So I was wondering is there anything in the Bible, or even in Christianity in general that deals with thos letters? Please remember, serious questions should be met with serious answers. And before you say anything about Black Sabbath, they do have a song called "After Forever" that I believe any Christian would enjoy. (Email me if you want the lyrics to see for yourself)

I guess it stands for new international bible, judging from what some of you have said, thank you. But can anyone tell me anything about it, my interest has been sparked.

chdoctor> Sorry, but if you heard the lyrics... well let's just say they'd scare most Christians becuase not a lot of people really get what it means. But to sum it up, it starts off sounding like a love song with lyrics like "I will give you those thing you thought unreal", but at the end you realize it was actually the Devil trying to seduce you. (It is ment to be IRONIC, so don't think too much into it) I'm not sure if that helps, but yeah, that's what it is about.

n.i.b. stands for "new international bible". it's just a version of the bible. there are several...

there's the king james version, the new american bible, and other ones too. the difference between them tends to come down to the time that they were translated from the original texts that make up the bible and weither or not they include the apocrypha. the apocrypha are the seven books that catholics include in the bible but the protestants do not include in the bible

The Bible is probably the most published ebook on the earth. The Koran might generally be subsequent. There are many types of the Bible. Most bibles published by means of legitimate firms are in most cases right in there interpretation, despite the fact that they will use special phrases.

I can't think of anything in Christianity or the Bible that NIB would stand for. NIV (New International Version), NLB (New Living Bible), but not NIB. Maybe "New International Bible"?

After reading the posted lyrics, I am more puzzled. I don't think it stands for a version of the Bible.

If you want to e-mail me the lyrics of that particular song, maybe I can figure it out from the context. By itself, this is not a popular/well-known set of initials for anything biblical.

Our love grows stronger now with every hour
Look into my eyes, you will see who I am
my name is Lucifer, please take my hand"
