All truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed; Second, it is violently opposed; and Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Clarification: Jews do believe in Jesus (he existed) they just dont think he was the messiah due to the fact that he did not profile prophisies, which no previouse prophet had really failed

and everyone who would agree is probably Jewish, and those who dont Christians and Muslims because they believe Jesus was the messiah

simple as that

Interesting. It appears that no-one has looked at the link you posted.

(And why are people arguing semantics? Of course when we say "believe in jesus" we mean "believe he is the messiah"! sheesh! On the side, considering how little evidence there is to jesus' actual existance, I wouldn't be surprised if many jews did not believe that even existed either.)

As it is, I agree with the reasons on the site, which is why I'm jewish and not christian.

No need to visit the web site.
There is no meaning in believing in Jesus as a path of faith or religion.
Jesus' doctrine is a way of life and not a religion.
Anyone can follow that and they need not be called Christians.
The Christian name has been hijacked by the devil and his children.
This is the case with all religions.
Look at Islam. They profess and preach something and practise something else.

Jews for Jesus = Vegetarians for Hamburgers

God? He or She?

Church? Christianity? Jesus? Dying?

What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?

Does Imacculate Conception = "VIRGIN BIRTH"?

Google Imacculate Conception and learn something.

What else do you falsely believe, Immaculate Deception?

Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Can Gods die?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?

No Eternal sacrifice, big deal for a day!

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

Life after death is like virginity after childbirth.

If the flesh of Jesus died, what was seen walking and talking on Sunday?

If you believe this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to believe it too to validate you.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

Believing and not thinking is like choosing a mental illness and becoming truly lost.

They believe he was man, but not the Messiah, because when the Messiah comes heaven is supposed to meet Earth and the dead will rise up and paradise will exist here on Earth, and those things didn't happen when Jesus came. That is why they don't believe.

We don't believe that Jesus was the moshiach (or annointed one, messiah is a Greek word that Christians imported) mostly because he did not fulfill the prophesies in the bible. Yes, I agree with those reasons. That's one of the reasons I'm Jewish and not a Christian.

its rather funny that you should ask that kind of question or should i put it better put it by saying .... that it is rather amusing to see such a question on the board tonight..give me a moment please and i will return with an answer....see the jews had all the mystical symbolism correct however they were all screwed up with the morals of life jesus left the jews because they WERE NOT AND STILL NOT the practice to a richer and higher soul self they think that what they PUT INTO their mouths is more important than WHAT COMES OUT of their mouths and that it is a good thing... one of the prayers is blessed be our lord thy god king of the universe that thou hast not made me a woman..how does one think that shell fish is a bad thing.

Jews believe in Jesus. Most don't believe Jesus is their Messiah, however.

Jews do believe in Jesus. They just don't believe he's the son of God.

They were expecting someone to come and overthrow the Romans. They thought Jesus would come wielding a sword and take the thrown. They're still waiting. I think they're wrong.
