I am... I don't understand why they are even in the religious section except that they enjoy sadistically persecuting Christians...

I find it funny how they cry and whine about Christians sharing their beliefs but then they write and push their beliefs on everyone and try to convert everyone to their way of thinking...

Very hypocritical

I am not a Christian but I am tired of it too. Do I think the bible is the full truth? NO. I look at some of the background on how it was all written way after everything supposedly happened and everyone was dead. Then I look at how it was written in one language and then translated into many other languages. I also look at the fact that some men decided what was to go into it and what was to stay out of it. I am sure the basics of the beliefs are there but I would like to know what was in the parts that were left out. I think the bible is good for people that believe in that God. I also refer to it from time to time when I talk to my Christian friends.

(CEV) Psa 14:1 (A psalm by David for the music leader.) Only a fool would say, "There is no God!" People like that are worthless; they are heartless and cruel and never do right.
Psa 14:2 From heaven the LORD looks down to see if anyone is wise enough to search for him.
Psa 14:3 But all of them are corrupt; no one does right.

Rom 1:18 From heaven God shows how angry he is with all the wicked and evil things that sinful people do to crush the truth.
Rom 1:19 They know everything that can be known about God, because God has shown it all to them.
Rom 1:20 God's eternal power and character cannot be seen. But from the beginning of creation, God has shown what these are like by all he has made. That's why those people don't have any excuse.
Rom 1:21 They know about God, but they don't honor him or even thank him. Their thoughts are useless, and their stupid minds are in the dark.
Rom 1:22 They claim to be wise, but they are fools.

Prophecy fulfilled!

Do we believe we just "poofed on earth?" As told by the Bible? NO! We evolved, as did all life on all Earth. Some take the Bible too literally, while some understand it is a collection of parables upon which to build a moral code, like many other fables. We do not all believe that is is comprised of absolutes.

You know I find it very funny that we as human beings seem to need every other human being to think and believe what we do in order to be justified in our own beliefs. I know that the idea of Christ seems unreal because he is portrayed as a perfect person, and that the Bible is too unreal, but many theories in science have also come under attack again and again. In fact it seems like everyday there is a new scientific theory or a different scientist disputing the findings of another, so, science like Christianity has many inconsistencies. However, whether you believe in the big bang or creation, we all have to believe in something.
I have seen the works of 'God' in my life, and I know that he exists, but this is my reality and it is what keeps me going everyday knowing that the world can be such a crazy place. I feel him just as I feel the breeze, which I cannot see. He is important to me, and that is all that matters.

Actually it's bible thumpers that think man "just poofed on earth". None of us "believe" the bible is fake or a fairy tale, we know that it is from its errors, inconsistencies, contradictions, wrong predictions, bad science....etc etc.

If you don't want to have your beliefs challenged, then don't ask questions in an open forum. Ask questions in the shelter of people who share your delusions, and you will never have to actually think about why you believe what you believe.

Atheist believe that we just poofed on earth? really? I thought that Atheists believe in EVOLUTION; the only thing that goes poof is creation.. Creation is a nice story, just like a parent telling their child the story of the stork brings babies to the homes of parents

Alot of the atheists (including me) i know believe the big bang theory and evolution. Christianity says an invisible man made us. I am tired of religious people saying the big bang theory and evolution are ridiculous ideas when they believe in an intangible father figure tells us what is right and wrong and if we don't obey we go to hell.

I'm not tired of it. And why do you assume they are Atheists? And no an Atheist would not "really beli[e]ve". That's the nature of Atheism.

I've answered a question similar to this one already so I won't regurgitate it here.

My question would be, why do you feel so threatened by people who question your beliefs? Perhaps you realize they have some valid questions.
