Take 100 Mexicanos "thoughts" with a grain of salt. I think he may actually be an American trying to spur more hatred against Mexicans and illegals by posing as one. Either way we should probably just dismiss his response.

Not only is 100% Mexicanos probably not a Mexicanos, he's an idiot. No illegal immigrant wants the Southwest to break off from the US. It's not about the land, it's about living in America. If the Southwest broke off from the US, it would be part of Mexico, and all those people crossing the border from Mexico, Mexicans and any other nationalilty that has made it to the US/Mexico border, have risked their lives to get out of Mexico. Maybe 100% Mexicanos has the solution. Just redraw the border and unload the problem.
Not only would amnesty exacerbate the problem, it would be monumentally unfair to all the people who have filed applications to legally immigrate to the US. Imagine you are waiting for a kidney, but there is a bribe scam going on so people are getting kidneys before you. The scam is uncovered and the hospital officials say, Anyone who has already paid the bribe will get their kidneys, but after that, everyone is going to have to wait like the rest of the poor schmucks. How unfair would that be? That's what amnesty does. It allows the law-breakers to get their legal status while the poor schmucks who have been following the law all along have to wait that much longer. It rewards the law-breakers and punishes the law followers.

It would happen all over again. Amnesty is NOT the answer! I know for a fact that many illegals have rushed into the states over the past several months thinking they will be able to get the promised (hinted at by the President) amnesty. As another poster here said, they will just lie about how long they have been in the country, in order to get the amnesty. It will be very easy for them to figure out ways to convince the authorities that they have been here the required length of time. They will have others (illegal lovers) vouch for them and how would anyone be able to prove any different? Amnesty is NOT the answer!!

It would happen again: As soon as the word Amnesty was tossed out the numbers of ILLEGALS went up. And don't believe that BS the government want's to pass about if you've been here 5 years or 3 or less than 2 BS. If they walked across today they'd say We Be Here 5 years Now. How do you Document UNDOCUMENTED employment????? NO AMNESTY, NO FREE PASS. A Simple GET OUT OF AMERICA CARD is all they should get.

If we give amnesty again they will just keep coming even if the border is secure, it can not happen again.
100% Mexicano, your people are to stupid to run a government, just look at Mexico where you are fleeing from, and our laws are much different that could never happen, you don't want to be beaten again do you. if you want to live under the Mexican government go home and do it, why in the hell do you want the Mexican government here, DAAAAAAAAAAAAM, your an idiot.

Last time we granted amnesty, we didn't properly "close" the borders. Amnesty can only work and not encourage illegal immigration if we make sure the border is truly secure.

We need to Seal our Borders,Deport ALL the Illegals,then Let them Apply for Citizenship the Legal Way................
Amnesty will not Solve the Problem..................
Because 10yrs from now Another Politician will suggest Amnesty for 20mil. more Illegals.........
It is a never ending cycle we need to stop now.............
