Brushing your gums is good for bleeding gums.

The most common cause of bleeding gums is plaque growing under your gums.

Plaque is made of bacteria, your gums don't like bacteria, bacteria makes your gums swollen red and bleed very easily.

Get rid of the plaque by jiggling the tooth brush bristles under your gums when you brush, and eventually (2 weeks) your gums will realise that you're all of a sudden keeping them clean, no bacteria, no bleeding.. YAY.

Salt water doesn't kill bacteria. nor cure gingivitis.

PS your gums may bleed at first when jiggling the bristles under them, but thats the only way to get rid of the bacteria(plaque) causing them to bleed in the first place.

yes, salt water is good for bleeding gums because it allows the gums to shrink thus slowing down the bleeding. it will also make them tougher and less likely to become irritated. salt water rinsing is also good with abcesses.

salt water couldn't hurt. 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide helps to heal sores in the mouth (I don't advise swallowing it though)

yes to your question but it could damage your enamel if you use too much salt or if you do it too much. You should floss more often.
