as a Jew, and yes I voted for Bush ( waiting for shock to get over peoples faces)

one of the reasons why I did vote for him was because of his record on Israel and the Middle East. Personally I think the lack of negotiations is a good thing. Look at what the Oslo accords and camp David got us? its called a second intifada.

personally I will take a president that dose not give a crap about Israel and could care less what it dose than one that wants to constantly meddles in its affairs.

the president that says who cares about Israel is the one that gets my vote because he will let Israel do what ever it needs to destroy the terrorists and not try to help them though negotiations

I am not Jewish (but grafted in = see source).).

I expect the Jewish people of the USA are not rushing to kiss the feet of Bush simply because all he did is what he should have done.

Bush didn't do any SPECIAL FAVOURS for the Jewish People.
He just did his job as he should have.

Israel is a Sovereign State - attacked by Suicidal Terrorists who use women and children as shields. Israel needs help.

Why would Jews OWE President Bush ANYTHING? I honestly don't get your question even after reading your link.

So? America and Israel is both fighting Terrorism, so what? Bush has done less for Israel as a Nation than any other President. Period.

sure -- Jews have hitorically voted democrat and that has only slowly and recently begun to change. They see any president of the US as potentially supportive of Israel, but also see the office as needing more than just a mouthpiece for a single platform, but an individual who speaks to them on multiple platfroms -- just like any other voter would want.

Why assume that all jews put Israel as the end all and be all of their political depth?
