I installed a game right. Ok, when I click on the icon for the game on the desktop or on the start menu, I hear the music for the game, but I still see the desktop. WHen I click on the icon for the game in "my computer" the setup wizard starts up again, even though I've already installed the freakin' game. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with this game. I just bought it today, and was all reay to play it, but then THIS started happening. Its frustrating. You have to email tech support instead of talking to them in a libe chat. Any, your help would be MUCH appreciated!!!

I have reinstalled and uninstalled six times already. The game does not show on the taskbar when I click on it.

When you're clicking the icon in "my computer" you're probably actually clicking the cd-rom drive itself, which starts the autoinstall program on your game disk. So stop doing that. Instead, try downloading and installing the latest patch for the game, along with the latest drivers for your video card. It sounds like its probably a display driver problem anyways.. What game is it? :)

Sometimes you need to update the drivers for your video card and sound card to get a game to work properly. Other times it can be a problem due to requirements like if it requires a 3D video card and you don't have one.

Did you read the system requirements for the game yet? If so and your system fits the needs go to the manufacturers website and look for a game patch.
