We will be coming in from Dallas Texas. We are really wanting to see an Indian tribe.

HEY NOW, this is for all of you that are slamming Oklahoma, what is so bad about it? I have been living here all my life. I have visited other states and was disappointed in what I DIDN'T SEE, but I didn't go around knocking them!!!!!! So please don't knock my state!!
As for the question, there are not many Indians around any more, just the tourist stuff is all there really is left. There are some powwows, but they are not going on all the time. What I would suggest is go on the Internet for Oklahoma and they will have the sites that you can visit here and where the places are that we have here in Oklahoma. We do have some neat places to go see, and we are growing as well.

Turner Falls is nice. If you like the outdoors Beaver's Bend on Broken Bow lake is pretty and stiper fishing on Lake Texoma is hard to beat.The Will Rogers Museum is on I-44 near Tulsa and the National Cowboy Museum is in Oklahoma City. I assume you are flying to Dallas and renting a car? Caution..IT WILL BE VERY HOT! Expect highs over 100 everyday.

You need to visit Turner Falls and then to Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Chickasaw is a national park that was once owned by the Indians. It's very pretty there. I dont' knwo where you can go to see an Indian tribe though.

There's always Bells Amusement Park and Big Splash in Tulsa. Not exactly sure what you mean by "wanting to see and Indian Tribe" but there are plenty of "tribes" up in the NE(Ottawa county) corner...8 to be exact!
