Lift weights (heavy enough that you can only manage 6 repetitions per set). Eat enough protein, but not too much fat. (Which is the reason so many use protein shakes.)

Eat clean organic whole foods to help you lose the weight. Increase your protein intake with real food , not the shakes and bars. Eat less and more often.
Join a gym and use primarily freeweights. Keep the reps high at 10-12 where you can barely get your last 2 reps. Do all basic exercises, not all the new age band, stability ball stuff. Do some type of cardio with each weight training day.
if you are consistent with your diet and excercise you will see results in a few weeks.

Ask Allah to make you strong ( it is not only about muscles, as far as I know ).
Read books about exercises. A lot of exercises may not mean more muscles, and it might be better to exercise when you are not tired and on several occasions throughout the day. Beside that, you may not need to even go to gym and use machines if you know how to exercise and when, etc.
Thank you.
