I have a boy friend, and i guess you can call him rich, his parents must make $500k+ a year and hes only 20 and makes $170k a year, he loves me and I love him, I realy do, but im average 19 year old that doesnt make as much as he does. He Doesnt like how they dont like me. I think the parents want some one in his class. But Im not going to leave him for it. I once heard his parents say "dont give her your credit card for shoppnig" and he still did.

I think that's just wrong of his parents.To be so snobbish just because you may not have alot of money like they do.I'm glad that there son isn't like them.that means that he loves you for you and he doesn't care if you have money or not.He's a good man and you're lucky to have a man like that.jus hang in there and and things will get better. good luck

U have to understand how his parents think.. It's understandable though. If u are a rich parent and your son is dating an average gal, will u scare that the gal is hanging with your son to get $$$ to buy things and using your son? U will.. So it applies same to your bf's parents.
Don't be upset about it, it may not mean they don't like u. They need u to prove to them that u love their son not coz of $$$. It takes time. U have to control also, don't spend too much from your bf and try not to use his credit card, as it is provided by his parents.
Show the true self and be reliable, so u can gain trust of another person. U cannot get the trust from a person in 1 night right?
If u feel he is the 1 and u are both in love, just show him your love! His parents will accept in the end, don't worry

You can't change who you are and you shouldn't. All you can do is be respectful and polite when you are around his parents and DO NOT ever criticize them to your boyfriend (he loves them). Let him defend you to them. And, if he loves you, he will. But, if you act like a lady around them, they will learn to like you and trust you. I am sure, being rich, they suspect anyone who isn't of going after their son for his money. It isn't personal. If you feel this relationship could be lasting, then you want to be as nice as possible, just in case these people become your childrens' grandparents! Hopefully, over time, they will learn that you love their son for who he is and not for his money.

hey taco, well it seems like your boyfriend's parents are making him choose his ladies..Thats not a good sign, I think that you should discuss this with your honey & tell him how you feel & listen to him & see what happens, and also talk to his parents & express your feelings to them & they will understand, remember love doesnt cost a thing!!! good luck!

HONEY don't pay attention to his parents gosh it's you and him bcz ur not dating his parents right?? It's him you are dating and he loves you and you love him so tell him to talk to his parents about it but you don't worry...
