I would like to convert people to Christianity solely on the fact that there very well could be a hell and I dont want people to wind up there if they didnt have to. Not unlike how I will tell someone to get buckled while driving incase they are in an accident.

What would you get out of saving someones life. If you saw that someone was about to die, you would want to warn them. For us it is the same thing, except that it is for eternity. Should we just stand by and remain silent while they head for an eternity in hell? Of course not.
Just as trying to save a person from being killed is not an act of hate, it is an act of love. So is trying to tell them about the gospel. We are trying to save them so they can spend eternity in heaven. We even do this when we are made fun of and mocked.

Convert? It's not a Christians job, to convert. We plant a seed.
Whats in it for me? The satisfaction I'm doing the work for the Lord. All Christians would say thie, I'm sure.
Good Question

If you consider my religion to be atheism, then no. If you consider my religion logic, then yes. I think people are all too willing to throw out their minds and believe something because it's convenient and optimistic. I don't care whether they become atheists or theists, just that they logic through their own point of view and come to conclusion that fits them.

The peace of knowing that another person is saved and not going to hell. It is simply like telling someone about a good resturant or a helpful remedy, but much more important.

Nope. I'll explain why my beliefs are right for me, and I'd be happy to help if they want to learn more, but religion should be a spiritual path, not a forced march.

God is love. Those who know him have him in their hearts and by that love are compelled to love others. If they love others they are compelled to express this truth to those that are perishing, not out of personal glory but because by doing so they love God in return.
Christians are promised reward in heaven for their faithfulness on earth, this reward is not what you would think. The rejoicing in heaven for all of the faithful, to look in the eyes of just one who believed because of your testimony is reward enough because you know that they would have been lost if not for your obedience.

I would not like to convert people to my religion... I would, however, like people to consider turning to Jesus... I would get nothing out of it except joy...
