I've heard Illegals say they owned this land before the White man came Yet I don't Ever recall seeing one western movie where the Cowboys were fighting the Mexicans. Always Cowboys and Calvary against the Indians. Texas Fought and gained it Independence so how can they claim Texas??? Remember the Alamo????

First of all for the person that said who cares about what they claim you need to shut your trap up and then not complain about the illigal issues the country faces. Movies aren't real let me say. They portray one point and forget about other points in the situation. The west isn't all cowboys and howeee partner. The West belonged to the native american and mexicans because Mexico onwed the southwerstern territory. In the Mexican American War(1846-1848) they lost it when they signed the treaty of guadalupe hidalgo. Look up in the textbooks. The texans were also people that migrated to mexican territory accepted the rules set by Antonio Lopez de santa ana and then decided they wouldn't go by his rules. Girl learn your history and then complain.

Most Mexicans are, or have Indian blood. I remember the Alamo, and that's not how the white people in Texas won the war.

Your history books tell you what is convenient for US history but let me tell you the Mexican side because I think no text book told you this.
Texas was from Mexico, that's truth but the thing is that a dictator sold it to US and he was forced to sell it for some money. His name was Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana and he is the biggest traitor for Mexico.
And that's all I want to tell you because if I tell you more your heroes will be fallen down. Keep dreaming.
Just remember that history is writen by winners and every country elaborates text books for making seem good to their people and their wars but there is always other side of history.

Because it is history and not an exciting one. Unless you can make a Western movie two hours long with only America handing a check over to Mexico. Real action packed I tell you.

Stop watching movies and TV like Lou Dobbs or Neil Cavuto, Bill O'Reilly etc. and start reading history books. You might learn something worthy. However you are right, they claimed Texas and it belongs to this nation.

Let us not forget that Mexico was in cahoots with Nazi Germany during WWII and had Germany prevailed in Europe, They would have used Mexico as their launching pad to invade us here! Mexico was to receive in return for a Nazi victory, the States of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California! I don't trust any of them!
