Slowly desensitize yourself to it by introducing drawings and then eventually small figures into your awareness.... take it slow, there is no rush. If you don't have a fear of stuffed animals or stuffed dolls start their if they are less threatening for you. Next step would be to go to a friends or family members house whom may have dolls and expose yourself to them... for a few minutes at a time or as long as you can stand it for as often as you can stand it. Self talk is powerful so if you tell yourself that there is nothing to be afraid of and list the reality based aspects of your fears it will help become less fearful of them. The next phase is visual exposure... think about yourself in an atmospher with a doll until it becomes less frightening each time you visualize it. Playing with dolls is a wonderful part of childhood and I can understand your concern and commend you on wanting to tackle your fears now for your future familys sake. I wish you luck with your overcoming this fear.. but you can do it... and eventually you will.

Don't have dolls.
Or don't buy dolls for your daughter that creep you out.
Kids only know what you expose them to. And you, as the parent, get to decide what appropriate playthings are.
But consider, too, that many parents go to great lengths to hide their irrational phobias from their kids. For example, I'm terrified of spiders. I know it's stupid, and that no spider can hurt me, and that I'm being a total loser, but I hate, hate, hate the way they walk. I didn't want my kids to learn that from me, though, so I worked really hard not to show it. And it's worked so well that my phobia is abating. I'll never like spiders, but I'm OK smashing my own now, or even letting them be.

this is true its normal you just got to be used to keeping them around so when you grow up you wont have to worry about it, for example: try sitting in one room with dolls all around you and they have to be different ones. dolls are dolls they are not going to do anything to you, one time i was at my friends house and she had this doll that had red eyes in the dark and it blinked, so we turned off the lights and watched it but it scared us so much that we droped our pop, but the point is that all the doll did was sit there and it doesnt scare me anymore

i feel the EXACT same as you about dolls. they have always given me the spooks.
you have nothing to worry about. cause i have 2 daughters and i never let them have those kinds of dolls and they never wanted one either. (thankfully) they did love barbies...which i like.
