I know this question must be worn out but I have sucessfully potty train my chi who was crate trained to use a pee pee pad. My new pomeranian Prissy stays in a laundry room and uses her pad when in there, but when she comes out she runs to pee on the floor. I put her on the pad, give her a treat but it's not working. I also allow her only a small amount of space so she'll find her pee pad easy while out playing. Any advice from sucessful training, me and Prissy need some help!

most pets do not like to pee in the area they sleep. as soon as you get her out of the crate take her outside. give her time and praise her and treat her when she does go. it takes time and patience and you must be persistant. dont just do it a few times and give up.u have to set a pattern. and also everytime you feed her wait 15 to 20 minutes than again take her outside. praise is so important. never hit the animal . they will become very afraid.Patience And love

First of all pee pads aren't an excellent burglary instrument. Eliminate them. I would be certain you are consistently supervising your Pomeranian when indoors and if you happen to seize your canine within the act - immediately "ah ah" or "no," firm however no longer irritated and take the canine external to the desired potty spot. When your canine goes potty outside ensure you're making a large fuss, glad playtime, tons of excitement and laughing and cheer! Quickly adequate your canine will recognize that outdoors = get together, indoors = no! Additionally, by no means rub your dogs nose within the accident - and in no way scold a canine for going potty. In the event you don't trap your dog in the act of pottying, you missed your possibility. Puppies can't tell the difference of whether or not you are angry in regards to the deed or the vicinity so they're going to hiding accidents from you- which is under no circumstances just right! A different instrument, due to the fact that these rugs are field rugs (confidently some are small), take the rug that your canine pottied on external and set him down and praise him for being outside. Your rugs is also feeling alot like these peepads felt underfoot - complicated the dog. Excellent good fortune!

First of all pee pads don't seem to be an overly well burglary software. Get rid of them. I'd ensure you're regularly supervising your Pomeranian whilst interior and for those who seize your puppy within the act - instantly "ah ah" or "no," corporation however no longer irritated and take the puppy external to the preferred potty spot. When your puppy is going potty external ensure you are making a giant fuss, completely satisfied playtime, tons of pleasure and giggling and cheer! Soon adequate your puppy will become aware of that outdoor = celebration, interior = no! Also, in no way rub your puppies nostril within the twist of fate - and in no way scold a puppy for going potty. If you do not seize your puppy within the act of pottying, you neglected your possibility. Dogs can't inform the change of whether or not you are irritated approximately the deed or the position so they'll begin hiding injuries from you- that is in no way well! Another software, considering that those rugs are field rugs (optimistically a few are small), take the rug that your puppy pottied on external and set him down and compliment him for being external. Your rugs is also feeling alot like the ones peepads felt underfoot - complicated the puppy. Good success!

My Pomeranian did this too. As soon as you let her out of the laundry room, take her immediately out to do her business, Pick her up if you have to, to prevent her from going on the floor before you can take her out.Praise her for doing a good job , lots of petting and attention. This did not work with my pom. So after I took her out to do her business, I put a doggy diaper on her(Which you can buy on-line from pet-smart or pet-co). It was tricky getting them to fit right, but this worked very well. After a week wearing the diaper, she stopped peeing in the house. A few months later, she relapsed, so on went the diaper again, only for a day, and now it's been 6 years, house pee free.

I have no idea. But when you figure it out please let me know. My pom, will not stop going in the house. It has gotten so bad we are actually looking for a home for him. Duce will stay outside from morning to night and the first thing he does when he comes inside is pee and poop on the floor. He will lift his legs on my walls and tables. I was told by a vet to get him fixed and he would stop, well I got him fixed and he still does it. We tried the spray bottle for barking and that didn't work either. All I can say is good luck and if you find anything out the might be helpful let me know.

I'm with Rebeca. I finally made my b/f come get him. He was marking everything. Look right at me and lift his leg. And he was potty trained good. Guess he just decided to start doing whatever he wanted, pee, poop, and mark. Yeah, he was fixed and had plenty of love and affection. He just had this male thing about marking everything. Lots of little dogs are like that. I like to call it "little man, big man syndrome" Just like some of your shorter smaller men that run around acting all tough. I'm so glad he is gone, I can put away my steam cleaner now, not that he didn't ruin my off white carpet.

Stay consistent with your training and one day she will get the message not to pee pee except on her pad. You are doing a good job.

when you let her out, carry her and take her outside or somewhere to pee so that when she goes somewhere else in the house she wont pee there. when you see her sniffing the floor where you dont want her to go to the bathroom, pick her up immediately and take her where she is suppose to go to the bathroom. when she pees (or poops) in the correct place then give her a treat.
