Absolutely you can do both! You've got your entire life ahead of you. And once you get your beautician license you can work part-time while supporting yourself through art school. So, stay focused, study hard, and best wishes for you (I wish I'd been as smart as you appear to be when I was your age!).

Ask this question to a councilor at the college that you wish to attend. As a Vocational student, you might have to take additional (non-credit) classes before you are granted admission. These classes are normally taken in high school if you chose a college prep curriculum. I was vo-tech, and went on to graduate with a BS (with honors) from a University later in life. It might be a littler harder to start, but well worth the effort in the end. Good luck!

i dont see why you couldnt. that will give you something to do as a job while you are in art school, and even when you get out. i think it is a very wise decision, its a backup plan at the least. good luck and blessed be.
