What is the difference between Vet Assistants and Vet Technicians? I'm interested in becoming a Vet tech but before going to school, I know a few animal hospital are willing to train newly vet assistants with little or no experience and I would like to become an assistant first before i go to school to become a tech in case I don't like it. Also are state board exams are require to get a certificate for vet technician or is it recieved upon completion? Thanks! :)

In many fields, an assistant is a gofer while a technician has specialized training in specific tasks.

i does not advise turning out to be a scientific expert in basic terms for the sake of money, that's a severe ethical dedication. i do no longer comprehend approximately income-clever, yet i think of vet tech gets paid the main, doing issues inclusive of blood artwork, x-rays (taking, no longer analyzing), installation heart video demonstrate instruments, etc. Assistants do the grimy artwork inclusive of surgical treatment prep (i'm especially advantageous there are no veterinary anesthesiologists), supply animals photos, carry animals down, etc. i think assistants gets a commission the least.
