blinking too much, shifting their weight a lot, looking up and to the left while answering a question (shows using the creative side of your brain which means they are creating the answer rather than telling the truth from the right side). those are close to fool proof.

well, although many of the afore-mentioned techniques can be used to spot a lie....not one of them is fool proof and not all of them are fair... u should never have to check someones computer or email or phone to see if they are telling the truth...ask them directly and if for some reason you dont trust the answer then keep that in your mind and go on... the next time something happens where u again dont feel right, confront again... finally, somethign will happen...either he will get sick of you asking, or you will figure it out...but if you cant trust him now, there must be a reason for it or you would not be doing this...i would suspect he has done fishy things to you in the past (or you know he has done fishy things to others in the past) or you have been cheated on or lied to in the past... if it is just you using your past to classify him as a potential liar/cheat, then this is a "you" problem...if however, he is a known cheater/liar and you have found that he is acting oddly, then by all means confront him... and if you dont think it is the truth, dump him!
there are plenty other who wont lie to you!

everytime we open our mouths ha ha ha ha Ok Ok I am kidding!! uh usually look them dead in the eye and see if they can't keep there eyes focused on you or they seem to be looking toward the right that means they are using the right side of the brain which is the creative side so they are trying to make stuff up works real good on children too might want to practice on them first so you can develop the skill

It is in the eyes, but not about blinking. Its about eye position. You'd need to study Neuro Linguistic Programming which teaches how to read body language and eyes among other things.

Watch their eyes.....if they avert their eyes or blink alot or look up and to the left. Up and to the left is accessinthe creative side of your brain...down and to the right is the recall.

if they don't want to let u see their email or cell phone.
if they object to u checking the facts to verify their story
if it just doesn't smell right
if 5 or 10 things had to happen in their version but
the truth only one thing would cause it

Watch how often they blink.
Blinking is a sign of lying.

It's called a womans intuition....follow your gut feeling. If it just doesn't sound like its the whole truth and nothing but the truth then it's not.

Catch him in a lie and confront him. I see no other foolproof way.
