Why do Racist Americans say that Illegals receive welfare?

It does not make sense!!!!!!! In order for you to receive some type of gov. assistance you have to provide evidence that you are an american citizen!!! This just shows to prove that illegal aliens coming through do not take advantage of this assisatance. HOWEVER, legal lazy, citizens do qualify. Immigrants work harder. There is a certain type of americans that just like to take advantage of the system, thats why they are so scared of loosing those welfare priviledges to a potential candidate that they know really needs the assistance. Scared? Don't be, these hard working individuals don't want it, htey just want to take care of their families not the gov. to take care of them.

Besides, I haven t heard any illegal alien complaining about getting paid less than minimum wage. They are all consumers in some way or another so they do pay taxes that do not contribute to their S.S. pension. What part of illegal do I don't understand? Amnesty makes them be here legally. It burns you racist Americans doesn't it?

It's not because they are racist, it's because they are ignorant in general. It's not their fault by the way. It's probably the media misinforming everyone to mislead the American voters.

Any illegal immigrant knows that he/she will eventually have to pay for their own emergency room, for example. My illegal neighbor it's still paying $24,000 for an appendectomy for his child because he doesn't qualify for health insurance. What Welfare? that's for legal citizens.

Why is someone a racist if they don't want people coming to the country illegally. HOwever, let's answer your main question. Illegal alliens come to this country and buy/steal someone else's social security number. They use this number to get benefits and get a job. Additionally, if an illegal alien shows up in an emergency room needing care (whether it be an emergency or a kid with the flu) by law the hospital must take care of them. They never pay the bill. It is therefore paid by the taxpayer. This is a form of welfare. Immigrants do work hard (including illegal ones); however, there kids don't necessarily follow in their footsteps being raised in bad neighborhoods. Get a clue to the real problem. It DOES make sense.

Interesting question. While I will agree that many immigrants, legal and illegal, work very hard and do not take advantage of the system, there's one key word in this sentence... ILLEGAL!!! Since when has that word lost it's negativeity? Look, no hospital can turn down a patient in need of emergency care. So "Paco Gomez" comes in to a hospital after an accident and will never have to pay that bill ,because his fake ID says "Richard Hertz" so John Q. Taxpayer fits the bill. Oh, yeah, taxes. Most jobs paid under the table are worked by illegal immigrants. Why? because they are illegal... I wonder how Mexicans (who I believe are wonderfull people, I'm just sick of people sticking up for ILLEGAL aliens) would feel if hordes of Americans swarmed into Mexico, took jobs, used the system, and chose to speak English instead of their native toungue. You're wrong. There's an entire illegal industry among Latinos involved in identity theft, stealing social security numbers and other personal information from citizens, and creating forged documents (passports, social security cards, green cards, etc.) that seem to prove that illegals are in the United States legally. They can and do get benefits illegally from the US government.

Not only that, they often visit hospital emergency rooms for trivial reasons, clogging up the system of medical care, and they don't even have to pay! Instead, when White Americans go to the hospital, they get overcharged so that the doctors and the hospital can recoup what they weren't able to collect from the illegals.

Although some of the illegals work hard, a lot of the rest are just plain bums, and frequently they are loco bravo bums that aren't safe to have around.

I think a better question would have been,
"Why do all honest hard working Americans get angry when illeglas recieve welfare for sitting on thier ***?"
Why? I'll give you an example.
My father is 65 yrs old and has worked so hard for everything he owns. He sold cars, and every nice thing he owned when I was young to see that I went to the county fair or to see that I had that new CD I wanted so badly. He pays his taxes every year and now he is on disability and SS. My mother raised 5 kids and did an amazing job with all of us. She too is now disabled and on SS. Do you know how much he and my mother get a month? Less than $1,000 and thier bills come up to more than $1,300! The "Beeners" that live down the road get 2x that amount and are not disabled and have fewer kids! Fair? I think not!
And one more example.
I am 8 months pregnant, and I am about to lose my apartment. I go into the welfare office to ask for some help. They tell me to take a seat. While I am in there, 2 "Beeners" come in and have a seat as well. Not only do they get called in and they leave before me, I see them come out with food stamps and an automatic acception letter for HUD!!! And HUD told me I would have to be on a list for 2 freakin years!

Next time, ask around, do some research before you make yourself look like a complete fool!

Unfortunately there are WAY too many people making use of the welfare system, who do not need it - LEGAL and ILLEGAL alike! The problem comes when people who do not / have not put into the system receive benefits. Many illegal immigrants DO have fake ID's, fake social security numbers, fake drivers license, etc. Their employers knowingly (in most cases) hire them off the books, and do not deduct the appropriate taxes from their paychecks in order to feed the system! So, when an illegal goes to the hospital and can't pay for the services rendered, or if he/she should file for welfare or social security using his fraudulent identification - OUR contributions are used for their behalf.

Welfare and social security was meant to be a societal backdrop, NOT a cover all health and retirement plan! Many of us hard-working Americans hope we do well enough in life as to never need welfare or social security, but at the same time would like to know it's there if we should need it! STOP THE LEACHING.

I am not a racist american however I am an american working in the health field. They do receive many free benifits payed for by the
tax payers. They go to free clinics and receive free drugs. That I
know for a fact. You don't need any identification or have to speak
english to get either! Also there is a little unknown law that if
you know someone is illegal you are not allowed to ask them and
turn them down for services. A stupid law seeing they however are
illegal. So yes, they they do receive some sort of "welfare" on
our tax paying dollars! I've seen it and even given free healthcare!

You are incorrect, actually. To enroll in a public school all the family has to show is the live in the attendance area. The kids can receive a free education and supplies. The kids can also receive free lunch without having to prove any sort of citizenship. Families can receive free food from local food banks, too. Diapers and formula are also avaioable that way. And, any illegal alien can go to any emergency room and receive care. Citizenship is not an issue.

I've KNOWN illegals who got welfare. I'm not racist, and I'm not lazy. I do know that illegals can and do get stolen i.d.s that allow them to work in this country with all the advantages.

Be careful whom you are calling racist; some people just don't like seeing their jobs taken away from them by law-breakers.

And just because someone is on welfare or other public assistance doesn't make them lazy; the idea was that it was for people who had hit a bad time to help them pull themselves back up, and that's what some of us have done with it.

okay i'm tired of the whole illegals all receive welfare.I will admitt that some do BUT so do other people.But of course its easier to just put all the blame on illegals.I have had my identity stole and have been in a car accident where the other person wasn't insured and guess what! they were all american citizens that either don't want to work or just wanted to get some easy money.My parents came here illegally and contrary to what I have read over and over on here they NEVER asked for governmental assistance.they worked hard doing whatever job was offered to them and once amnesty was offered they took it and CONTINUED to work till this day.I was taught to give back to this country because of all it gave us so I currently do volunteer work and work to pay my way through college.So as you have all said about how mexicans need to go back to mexico to fix their country why don't you all do the same thing? Or do you see america as being "fixed",instead of spewing your hate and blaming others for your woes and troubles why don't you go volunteer to become a mentor or to help the homeless then MAYBE this country could be truly perfect one day.

You are correct. Undocumented workers do not receive housing foodstamps or cash aid. I personally know someone who works for social services. If they have children that are born here then they can collect for their children. They receive a prorated amount of food stamps for that one individual not for themselves. If they are americans why shouldnt they be able to? Also, 99% of the undocumented people do in fact work, they just make very little money so they need assistance from time to time. As far as welfare recipients its, American citizens are the ones who are lazy, dont want to work and have the worst attitude. Trust me, they are the ones more likely to abuse the system.
