At first yes. But it should not be afterwards after all the infatuation, pedestal putting, admiration etc. You lose your identity which can be like being drunk.....it feels good but morning after....or years later is when reality comes and you deal with each other's plusses and minusses and respect the identity of each individual.
Small sips daily are good.....but sometimes it turns to vinegar for some.
Not enough people know themselves first and search for a complimentary side of themselves.
And you wonder why such a high divorce rate in the US.
The media emphasizes all what is "good , roses and all" without looking at reality........and I think lots of people fall for it. Especially young ones.

That's not a negative thing. It is just another way of saying that love has no biases. It overcomes judgements which arise from ignorance that abound in human society. Love goes beyond all our shoulds and shouldn'ts. In that respect love appears blind because it does not see with eyes but with the heart. Love is an unseen and sees through all of society's barriers into the unseen in you. Love has eyes for the pain in your soul or for the uniqueness that is you. Love does not acknowledge artificial importances of status, creed, or other. Love looks within into that which is genuine. And that which envisions the truth is never blind. All else is.

Love is not blind. True love is very accepting, but never totally blind. I don't think you can truly be fully in love with someone if there is not physical attraction of some sort. It just can't happen. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what's not physically attractive to you may be to others, so it's hard to question someone else's love.

Love is not only blind but it is also dumb and deaf....! And thats why it brings all sorts of problems and misery. But with all that hopeless feeling, LOVE conquers everything. Thats the amazing thing.

Yes it is. It surpasses ones faults and looks into the good of that person. Love sees the good and the great, it doesn't see the bad and evil...if it did, it wouldn't be love.

Love is not blind.

It just forces you to deny certain stuff.

When you're in love, you'd have this thinking that, "hmmm.. s/he will never do that to me, i mean s/he is my partner".

So no matter wat they do, you'd tell yourself otherwise. Coz, that person is someone that you love afterall. and to anyone in love, whoever the person they're in love in can never be the bad guy.
