Because my religion isn't Christianity.
If someone were to ask you "Why do you not go to a Wiccan circle?" Your answer would likely be "Because my religion isn't Wicca" (among other reasons).
Religious people attend the rites of our respective religions.
Those who do not believe in deities at all have no reason to attend any rites to worship something that they do not believe in.

I don't go to church on regular basis because 1) I'm lazy and like to sleep in on Sundays, and 2) don't agree with all the political crap that happens with many of the members of the congregation. I really like my pastor, I love what he has to say, and really enjoy my church's services, but all the stuff that goes on the rest of the time really annoys me. Its a shame that some of the board members and other leaders of the church are so petty, so driven by money, so not the way good Christians should be. Probably I should just go find another church that isn't as much like that, but I just haven't found the time.

It is a sad state of affairs that culture has trained Christian's to believe that personal/private worship is more important or better than corporate worship. And church-shopping is overwhelmingly the norm, as well. I do go to church and make every attempt to be there as much as possible. This is my family, and these people are important to me. I cannot be alone in worshiping God, and I have no desire to be. The flat-out answer is: I need church as much as I need Jesus. Without church, I would forgo Jesus and his teachings and would be led astray.

Personally, I don't believe in Organized Religion. I think that if you are going to a specific church, you are getting more of the pastor/priests views than that of the lord.
I would rather have my own beliefs than listen to someone tell me what I should believe. Having faith is more important than anything.

Because I have the Bible on my I-pod, and I'm not a Catholic, so I don't confess. Also, I do charity by finding things on the internet, so I don't need to do it through the church anymore.

Church is a place for people with strong views to push these views onto you. If people are really curious about their faith, they could research this on their own.

Sometimes I want to watch a sermon on t.v. in the privacy of my home, and it helps me concentrate more on what is being said, and not get distracted by other people.
