At their prime weight, Archie Moore by knockout, the Mongoose would have caught up with him in the later rounds. Difficult to compare.

Both fighters had 200 bouts and 100 KO's (these were truly great fighters).

Robinson - W 173 (KO's 108) TF 200 - beat every good/great middle wt and welter wt in the 1940's and 1950's - 13 of his 19 losses occurred after he was 40 yrs old.

Moore - greatest Lt Heavy wt ever - W 187 (KO's 132) TF 232 - held title for 10 yrs - Ko'ed by Heavies Ali, Charles and Marciano (for title) and Patterson (for title).

In this bout Robinson could win (that Lt Heavy title that alluded him when he fought Maxim) in a majority decision and retain the title in a return match draw.
