Then you come back after 18 years you come back? why the hell do you come back? where were you when we needed you? and wanted you? why came back now? and i gues my next question is should i let you back?

My father walked out when I was 12. He left us dirt poor - no child support or contact. I didn't see him again for 40 years - until he was on his death bed. I chose not to let him back into my life in the time inbetween.

As to whether you should or not, would you be better off with him or without him in your life. Only you can answer that.

Sorry to hear about that. Your Dad missed lots of good memories of you growing up. I think you should allow him back into your life. Your Dad made a big huge mistake but you have plenty of life to make some more memories.

You need to ask him those questions. The last question you should answer yourself, after he has answered the other ones...
