You have no idea. You think you're sad - it can get worse. When your brain has been damaged and your mechanism that hold capacity for sadness go down, you can't be sad enough. After a while, it starts to feel good to be sad, because it's something. Feeling something is far better than feeling nothing. Being happy for the right reasons is a long way off when you are there.

farther than u could possibly imagine, if you let it. fighting depression is so hard, and so tiring. if you are sad or no someone that is it is very difficult to deal with. and you wont feel like doing anything but push yourself-believe me, you'll be happy you did. maybe just taking a walk on a nice day going to a movie (not a sad 1!) or doing a little shopping anything to take your mind off it and not let it get too far, because if it goes too far, you wont be YOU anymore and you'll just be hurting the ones you love.
