James Brady of "Parade" profiled Maria Bello as a great actress and human being after admitting she didn't marry her son's father evern though they are good friends. Of course, when their 5-year old son gets to be 14-years old and his 90210 friends are calling him a bastard and why didn't his sl*t mother marry his dirt bag father, that should make for good tabloid reading and more money to their pychiatrist if he doesn't kill them. Aren't there some moral role model actors out there that Brady can profile and spend our time reading?

You're living in the last century.

There's nothing wrong with a child being born out of wedlock. What a child needs is a stable home environment and a loving family; whether or not that family consists of a "man and woman" is largely irrelevent. That's a verifiable fact, not an opinion.

Being a single parent/having children out of wedlock is more common than a lot of people think. What is wrong with showing that a single parent can do both working outside the home and raising a child also. Grant it, most single parents are not "great actresses" or "great actors", but what is wrong with saying "good job" for raising a child in what is usually not the best situation. I didn't marry my child's father because he turned into a dumb$hit and I didn't think I wanted to have that around my child. I think having a single parent that loves a child is is there for them is better than having 2 parents that argue and fight about everything.
I am not a sl*t and if anyone ever says to my child what you have said in your question... i will be all over them like flies on.... well... you get the idea. Don't be so judgemental... it could happen to you or someone you care about.

I would like to say that I had my daughter out of wedlock and she is 4 and I am still not married to her father!! I could care less what anyone says about it!! My sister is in the same situation I and she really doesn't care either!! I would rather not be married right now anyways! Most single parents don't care anymore!

I don't think that's a bad role model at all. Just because two people aren't married doesn't mean they don't love each other. It also doesn't mean that they can't raise a happy, healthy child, either. And now adays, teens call each other bastards just for the heck of it, not because they really are or aren't. I

Un-bunch your panties Mr. Bobby Bible-Thumper!

Not everyone believes what you do. This is NOT a theocracy, no matter what Bush thinks!

Nobody calls a child born "out of wedlock" a bastard anymore. You're out of date, bud.

I think its because there are much more unwed mothers nowadays. They probably have more problems than married moms; and therefore more likely to buy the magazines to seek advice and solutions.

stop living in the 1950s

i'd like to see hollywood stop talking about babies - period.
but of course, it brings in $ from the childcentric people who read those tabloids in an attempt to escape their sorid middle american lifestyle... while bratley screams as mommy is just trying to find out about soandso's new love child.
