I'm 22 yrs old and a planning on tranferring to a college 45 mins away from my current home to live there and finish my bahelor's degree. Recently this summer I met a girl (also 22) and we beganhooking up. After havng sex once she got pegnant and is 2 weeks or so into the pregnancy. After she told me this she also told me that she had been pregnant two other times and both times had an abortion. Now she is probably 50/50 on whether or not to have the kid. We've only known eahother a uyear and only been hooking up for the past month an a half. She lives at home w/ her mom. I was planning to go to school. What should she/we do? What kind of questions should we consider in making this decison? (i.e. "What's best for us or the kid?") And if she wants to have the kid what should I do as far as school goes? Any other input would be greatly appreciated....

I know that when a person has too many abortions, it really screws up her insides and she would not be able to have them in the future. If you all are willing to sacrifice time, I think you al should really talk about it together.. School can wait, even when you don't want it too. and you could always go part time.

Now that I have 2 kids of my own, I realize that what I have done years ago(abortion) was terrible, then I think that I would still have to be somewhat linked to that person I was pregnant with.
It is a super hard decision.. The only thing that gets my eye in your write up, is that the girl has already been pregnant 2 times before, with other men, sounds like you need to take a long hard look.... I'm not saying to abort or not... I'm saying this girl sounds like a little bit of trouble( sorry if that offended you , i just wanted to say what I thought) Be care full, think hard and smart, things like this do happen, it's not just you , so if you hear some one say you had sex you deal with it, only listen to your self, and your heart. Because school will be over along with alot of other things, if your not ready and she's not the right one, think about how the baby would feel if mom and dad were not together and mom has other babies with other men... that could happen!!!

BE CAREFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You both should do everything possible to ensure the baby is born healthy. If you aren't in a position to be parents, there are plenty of people out there who would be very happy - indeed would consider themselves blessed, if given the opportunity to adopt a healthy baby and provide it everything needed for a good life.

ok just because she is pregnant don't mean you have to quit school. You can still be apart of this childs life and still finish school you just have more responsibilties. abortion can really mess up your body so just be very surporrtive in her decision having a baby is not the end of the world

The school that you are transferring to should have a parent community where you can take your wife and children and they should be able to assist you as well. School is not over for you. But neither is the baby.

You have to deal with this baby, raise this baby, support this baby financially and emotionally.....after you determine that yes the baby is yours.

School for you may be over.

Next time, think about consequences before sex.

STAY IN SCHOOL! If your girlfriend decides to keep the baby, your education can support it.
