Poor circulation is one thing. And poor circulation can be an indicator of a more serious underlying medical condition. See an MD and if you don't have one...well, everyone should.

Hi,
Many different things. Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink water. Just do it often. Try to elevate your feet a few times a day.Get up from your desk and stand every half hour, and walk around every hour. Sitting cuts off the blood supply, and restricts circulation to your legs. Check out your chair. Is it ergonomically correct for you weight, height.?
Don't over do the salt intake. And, the heat we are experiencing can also be the cause of swelling.
Also, I would recommend a check up with your Doctor, and have your blood Chemistry checked. Stretch after work. And,....get a Cardio work out for at least 20 min. a day.

poor circulation will cause this, as well as not getting enough activity and not moving around enough. usually, fluid buildup in the ankles is due to the heart not working as effectively as a pump, and causing your circulation to be poor where your blood and other fluids dont get around the body as effectively as they used to either. you may want to see yoru doctor because you could be put on meds to help you with this.
