I think you are very depressed and think the whole world is on your shoulders. Believe me having friends is overrated unless they are true lifelong friends. Since you are so young and dont have any right now, you really are not missing out on anything. I suggest you look to older ones who will make you feel valuable, and vibrant. Those who are not your peers , that will care for you and you can care for them also. THose who will not pressure you into doing things that are wrong . Those who encourage you to do what is right. I know this sounds boring, but it isnt. Value your life more. Dont worry about college. Worry about you. You are the most valuable thing that you have. Just because you die dosent make things easier for anyone else. You may think you dont have friends, but Most likely you have family members and others who care about you. Dont complicate their lives. You can pray if it gives you peace. But faith without works is dead. That means you haft to work for the things you want after you pray. Dont give up hope.

Read your statement to yourself and pretend you are looking from a objective point of view. What I see is someone who has clear symptoms of depression of some form. I cannot tell you how debilitating this can become if left untreated. I would advise you to talk to someone as soon as possible. In my 15 years experience in this field I really become concerned when spirituality and suicidal ideations are even mentioned in the same phrase. If you are suffering from a chemical imbalance there are so many treatment options available. This is very common in depression. The inability to feel or idetify feelings, as well as an overwhelming numbness inf life in general is a normal symptom shared by millions. Not knowing if thre are underlying issues in life that need attention I would start by making an apt.with a mental health clinic then go from there. GOOD LUCK!

You are going through an experience designed by yourself my friend. This is as temporary & fickle a the whiff of smoke in the air. Consciously decide to change this experience and you will see it changing.
Life is a divine contract so that you may come to remember who you are by going through what you are going through. You are not alone in this...believe that you are surrounded at this moment by a 1000 angels...its just that your limited senses cannot perceive them.
Understand that all the 6 billion humans on this earth are here for a reason and no life is every wasted. So arise...wake up in yourself...and you will see the meaning of your life. Universe has plans for everyone of us..and you are NO exception.
Sit quietly in meditation everyday for a short while and you will see your life change. Set an intention about what you want to achieve and you will see it manifest.
Soul is eternal my friend... there is nothing called death except for our bodies.

I would talk to a pastor, priest. I would also consider changing church. Someone once told me, give your family the chance to love you, so talked with someone in your family. Also what helps me whenever my spirit needs to be reenergize is I go hiking whether its through the woods, along side a lake or just up a trail. I would take some music with me and get lost in my own thoughts. It helps to start an online journal also just to get your feelings out of you. And don't worry about things you cannot affect. You may not know your destiny just yet. Get on here and vent or create a myspace account and vent. I will always be here to listen.

Praying would help. Don't give up on life. Keep living. There is always a chance that tommorow will get better. I used to be depressed all the time too. Nothing seemed to make me happy. Then, well i can't really explain what happened. I found i light....from somewhere. Yours will come.

@ JamesMonroe: It's a freaking WOMB, not a stomach. Get a clue.
You're having a depression. Talk to your family doctor.
Things you can do to help include buying a pet, charities, volunteering, find something new that will bring interest (though it can take some time), smile just for the hell of it, go take a walk making sure you look all around (daily). It's little things that count when depressed.

Yeah but see a doctor too.please. I know that college students can fall into very dangerous depressions. Try to make up for some lost sleep too. See if there is a good campus group that you can hand out with. UCO, Campus Crusade for Christ or something on that order.
Keep moving even thought you have stopped feeling. Keep going to class keep reaching out for help keep going to church and being social with people who care about you not partiers who will let you fall on the floor dead and mop you up in the morning.
May the love of Christ uphold you and keep you safe my brother!

You can't control the chemical balance of your brain but it can take control of you. Do what you know is right, don't feel guilty that you've figured out that praying and church is for kids. Tell a doc what you said above and try his potions before self medicating w. drugs and alcohol. Never give up trying or you'll be dying.

I suggest you talk to a psychologist about it. Your doctor can probably recommend one to you. Go for a run or do some other type of exercising, that should help at least temporarily.
Millions of people suffer from depression. If you really are depressed (only a trained professional can say for sure) then you aren't alone.
I suggest you go here to learn more:

"Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems"
Good luck, I hope things get better for you.

Go ask a doctor for help instead. Church is not the answer, it only makes it worse because you expect God to help you out and when nothing changes in your life those thoughts of suicide will still be there.
