Actually, my guesses would be either Hinduism, with at least 2,000 deities, or Polynesian Pantheism, with over 24,000 deities!

How they kept track of all that before computers came into existence, I will never know.

When every blade of grass and every weed and every rock is a god or goddess, how do you work in your garden?

1)Christianity(as you already noted), which also happens to be the largest religion in the world.

2)Islam(the second largest)is also splintered into numerous sects.

3)Buddhism.

4)Hinduism.

5)Judaism.

6)Sikhism.

Pretty much all the world religions are divided into denominations, sects, schools, & cults.

Hinduism because there are about 800,000 (?) of them and each town, city, family, tribe, group have their different belief systems and understandings as well as different gods that they worship as well as doctrines that are not found elsewhere. Even the roots (or pillars) of hinduism are not agreed upon by most people and it is mostly about personal beliefs and no-one tries to convert the other person or show them their way because no-one knows they are practising anything the way it was intended themselves!
