The best place for me to study is outside.I set up a chair and a fold up desk in my backyard to get away from the noise inside. But the library is great and so is a small coffee shop or restaurant(order a small drink so you won't be asked to leave:)

One of the best places to study is an empty class room. Highschools, Colleges and universities have them all over the place. There big, quiet and you can use the chalkboard as well.

A library (college or public) hands down. It is quiet and with very few distractions. Unless you live alone, there is nowhere else quieter and undistracting.
