my hairdresser and close friend told me that no matter what kind of hair you have, a hydrating shampoo of any kind is best. How ever she is a bit pickier when it comes to conditioner. She instructed my husband I to use Matrix deep conditioning. I get 32oz and it lasts for over a year for about $42.00. I have had my hair dyed since I was I was 25 and I am 36. It is long and in pretty good shape. You only need a little bit and you just leave it in. She says for hair that is not that dry a 3-minute conditioner is best and she would use a salon brand. I trust her opinion because of the condition of her pretty blond colored hair. Also she is a teacher at our local beauty school and likes to study the health of hair skin and body..

Try Redken Smooth Down for thicker hair or Redken All soft other hair type. you may also need a leave in hair serum John Frieda anti frizz is pretty good Farouks Silk Therapy is the best! Also make sure that your styling products don't have alcohol listed in the first 3 or 4 ingredients(some is needed so the product itself dries on your hair) A lot is trial and error Hopefully your search won't be too long!

Depends on what your budget is. Any hair stylist will tell you not to use the cheaper regular store brand shampoos. If you want great hair, shop at a hair salon/beauty supply store. It costs extra but it's worth it. I use Paul Mitchell gentle cleansing shampoo, conditioner, and a leave in conditioner used when hair is towel dried. good luck to you.

I love Dove shampoo and conditioners. For you, I would recommend the moisturising type, since you need extra moisture and your hair is frizzy (from dryness). After shampooing, you should use the Intense Frizz Control cream for an extra boost of moisture and added frizz control :)

I personally can't use shampoo cause my hair is so dry and it seems to dry it out more. But I do use Mendex Conitioner from Sallys Beauty Store. It helps I could tell the difference is one wash. And you would think that it would be expensive, but its not.

DONT USE THE CHEAP STUFF!!! I would say. Matrix Sleek Looks. Or Redken Smooth Down. Joico Silk Result.. Stick with Prof. products. They are so much better... especially if you color your hair...
