You should get yourself checked out medically, it could be an STD of some kind (you didn't say if you used a condom or not).

Most likely you have either a UTI (urinary tract infection) or a bladder infection.

One night, after my fiancé had sex, I had a really bad pain in my lower stomach. It also hurt really bad, especially when I went to the bathroom, and it felt like, even though I just went, I still had to go. I was in so much pain, that my fiancé had to rush me to the emergency room.

The Dr. who saw me said that I had both (yeah, not fun!) He asked how long I had been having these pains, and I told him for about 3 weeks, but they weren't severe, so I just tried to ignore them. I let it go so long (without seeing a Dr.) that even with my prescription, it didn't clear up. I had to go back to the Dr. after I finished my medication and get more.

If you are having any of these symptoms (sharp pains in your lower stomach, urinating frequently...even if there isn't much coming out, feeling like you have to urinate constantly, sex is uncomfortable, and burning when you urinate) you should see a Dr. as soon as possible! Even if you don't end up having either, there might be another problem, and they can diagnose that for you.

Causes of a UTI or bladder infection are bacteria getting into the urinary tract (sex can sometimes cause that), waiting too long to pee, or not washing properly down there, along with many other things. Also the use of condoms and use of spermicides also increase the risk of urinary tract infections.

Also...it might be and STD...so it would be a wise decision to see a Dr. anyhow.

Good luck, and I hope this helped!

Is it the first time you had sex? Because for a couple of days after my first time it hurt. Did you use a condom? Because if you didn't, and you didn't go pee right after the come could have given you a urinary infection, it doesn't happen all the time, but I heard it could happen. Cranberry juice helps with urinary infections, try that for a couple of days. Other than that, you should go to the dr. because it could be something else that needs medical attention.

This is a classic sign of urethritis, which can be caused by a sexually transmitted disease, or by a U.T.I. . A urinary tract infection is rare in a male because of the length of the urethra, but common in females. Only a fool would wait. See your doctor, or for more privacy, go to your local health department. Either way, you will need antibiotics and medical attention. Good luck!

You might have a bladder infection and that happens really easily if you don't go pee right after sex. You should get it checked out though because if untreated then it could get worse and get to your kidneys

More than likely you have a bladder infection. If you choose not to see a dr right away try drinking alot of water or cranberry juice.

Is your urine cloudy? Does it burn when you go or hurt? If it burns when you go and your urine is cloudy then you might have a urinary infection. You should go see you doctor. If its a urinary infection they will test your urine and you will get antibiotics. In any case go to the doctor and get checked out.

sounds like it could be a bladder infection which is a (U.T.I). go to the doctor because it is not a good idea to continue having pains after urinating.

You probably got an HIV. That's what happens when you do sex with the first girl you see.
