hey we've only been going out three years...

This could be a condition known as Bell's Palsy in which a nerve that runs through the skull becomes enflamed and swells, effectively pinching itself off. This usually causes numbness and paralysis of one side of the face, but can spread to one entire side of the body. There is no scientific treatment. Most patients recover on their own in less than a year. Others are afflicted by it for the rest of their lives. If you would like more information on this disorder, continue dating your girlfriend. I'm sure you'll have to listen to lots crying and whining over the next who-knows-how-long! Run, man, run!!!

My mom had numbness on her left side too years ago. Doctors were puzzled to and thought that she would have half her face paralyzed forever... it got cured though.
Are you leaving your girlfriend due to her health condition? That's a really lame thing to do to her.

I dunno. She confided in me the other day - she keeps all her money on her left side and she has a weird allergy to $1000 bills that makes her numb.
