While it's true Mary was a virgin at the time of Jesus' birth, Joseph did consummate the marriage after that. Matt !:25 says Joseph "knew her not" UNTIL she had brought forth her firstborn son, Jesus.
Also Matt 12:46 also mentions that he had more than one brother. Of course they were half brothers, since they had the same mother but the laterborns were of Joseph.
Actually a good question.

As Mary and Joseph were jointly even as Jesus stayed in the back of in Jerusalem (about the age of 12), they maximum probably were, as residing jointly as guy and spouse incredibly a lot made you married then legally besides. Marriage turned right into slightly diverse than our present day civil (criminal) and religious aspects. Non-canonical sources recommend that Jesus' brothers and sisters were from a previous marriage of Joseph, that may cause them to older. despite the indisputable fact that, a reliable Jewish woman then could were anticipated to have little ones, so she could have lower than those circumstances. despite the indisputable fact that, RC's, Orthodox, and others cite non-canonical sources that say she did no longer have better little ones.

They had several children.
Matt 12:46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside. They wanted to speak to him.
Luke 8:19 Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see him. But they could not get near him because of the crowd.
Someone misidentified James the apostle. He was a son of Zebedee. Matt 4:21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers. They were James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee. As they were preparing their nets, Jesus called out to them. Another James was also among the apostles, but several references like Luke 8:19 as posted above indicate that the brothers were not involved in Jesus' earthly ministry.

Yes, they did have kids after Mary had Jesus...I don't know how long were they married before she had Jesus....but after she gave birth to Jesus, Joseph and Mary did have kids...let's just say Jesus did have brothers and sisters.

Jesus did have younger siblings. They didn't have sex before Jesus was born because they were not yet married (were only what is considered 'engaged' in todays terms) until after Jesus had been concieved (through the Holy Spirit, virgin birth). They did have other children in their marriage after Jesus was born.

Dear Ann Tykreist: I had an interesting experience that follows up exactly on your question:
I have studied for long years with Jesus and the Holy Spirit as my Teacher's. I hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit, I hear Jesus clearly, and I am in communion with them each day, through most of the day, on and off. I hear and see them in inner vision - not through the human eyes. Just recently, I asked Jesus if He would tell me about the Virgin Birth. I had always been doubtful, myself. What a surprise I received! Thinking that I would be assured that my thinking was proper, I was speechless when Jesus began speaking about it:
Jesus came into the World at the request of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit - the one brother amongst us who answered the Call the Holy Spirit put out through the Sonship - the One Mind - Spirit Mind.
Jesus had the human experience. But was not "touched" by it.
He explained that in order to demonstrate what He was going to teach, it was necessary that the Holy Spirit protected Him completely - in a purity - the rest of the Sons of Man did not have. If the Holy Spirit had failed to do that, the human experience for Jesus would have become as real to Him as it is to us . . .in our experiences. Carnality had to be eliminated for it is the human ego mind's greatest tool to make human physical life so real to us that our actual Creation and the knowing of our Father/Creator is lost. We no longer remember Him; our Reality, our real likeness to Him as spirit.
Jesus came here with all that knowledge in Him. He never lost it. While man believes his parents make him - Jesus never thought that - for His thoughts go beyond earthly physical life to His Reality. His protection during His brief life here was the protection of His purity - His knowledge. Knowledge we, the Sons of Man, have lost.
Jesus said, the Holy Spirit sent Him through to the physical realm with no carnal activity. He was living our experience as Man, but was untouched by it. The Resurrection showed us just how untouched He was!
I hope some of these lines are profitable for you in contemplation. Amen.

Who said they never had any sex? The bible states Jesus had brothers and sisters. He was the first and then they had babies after the conventional way.
