I heard that if you dye your hair and you do not like the outcome, if you wash your hair RIGHT AWAY with dish soap (like Dawn), it will take out most of the color. Is this true?

It might strip a tiny, tiny bit of the color out. And yes, your hair will be extrememly dry!

I had that problem a few years ago. My friend's mother in law was a beautician, & told us to go to Sally Beauty Supply & get something to strip the dye from your hair. The stuff I bought is called Color Fix by One & Only. She put it in my hair, & it took all the dye out, but my hair looked blonde & felt like straw for a couple days, but it went away. If you get it, read all the directions before you use it.

Dye Professional: If you put some vinegar to your hair and wait at least 4-5 minutes. It will result good. But if you doesn't like the smell, you can rinse it with water and shampoo (Any Brand). Try doing this. And the effectiveness will become much greater.
The effective shampoo you must try is Tide active Detergent, it's much effective though.

No that is not true I don't know who told you that, but I guess you can try anything just to see. Me, I would not let myself nor anyone touch it except for professionals. I had bad experiences. Just what ever you do don't use a box that says "Takes the Color Out" It really takes the color out. It turns your hair white!!

There are color strippers, but any color strippers are bad for the health of your hair. Some people fine head and shoulders a good easy way of stripping hair slowly if it's bad color, if you plan on re-dying it.

But i highly recommend you redye it, or go to a salon and have them fix it. your hair will thank you later, and look and feel better, than stripping it would. (dont bleach it out yourself, it will turn orange)

ew ew ew NOO WAY girl... >.<

Okay, There's this product called "colorfix" and i think you have to buy it online (takes about 3 days to come in too).

It strips away the hair dye that YOU DONT WANT and leaves your hair kinda brownish/orangey...so it lets you dye it again the color that you want.

I used it when i dyed my hair black (bad choice) and it left my hair a light brown, very pretty so i just left it like that.. but this product was meant for stripping the hair dye that you "mess-up on" or whatever :) USE it yay

p.s. It kinda stinks (literally) but its worth it. ^__________^

Pay the money and go to a good salon and have it fixed.

I seriously doubt it. Just re-dye, you don't want to risk more damage.
