In my bedroom, I put up a cheap wooden chair rail. The bottom half I painted a dark, navy blue. Above the chair rail, I painted a grey shade of blue. I painted the ceiling a light sage green. To bring the colors together, my curtains are sage green, and my comforter has all of the colors mixed in. My husband thought I was crazy at first, but he loves it. It is relaxing looking at a green ceiling--it beats the brightness of the white.

I think you should go for a greeny blue or bluey green shade. It will be very soothing and relaxing. Here is a online color selectiong tool:

behr paint has a website that has virtual rooms so you can test out your colors and see first hand what it will look like they also have a variety of rooms and exteriors to houses. I love this site.

TRY A VERY PALE GREY ,,,THIS GOES WITH ALL COLORS AND IT WILL GIVE YOU A SORT OF A JEWEL AFFECT .
