You get a program called DVDecrypter
and rip the dvd to your hard drive.
The use Nero to burn the ISO file to a new DVD.
Not only will it play, it will play better than the original
since all the macrovision stuff will be gone....
I get so tired of renting DVDs that are almost unwatchable because of the copy protection.

You can not write a movie in Nero. You can write a movie in word. You can burn a movie in Nero. You have to the movie in a compatible format that Nero will reconize. Then follow the step by step process

Nbody? I have nero, in any dvd player i don't know the program itself says in must dvd players but I my self have not found one. What you can do is change your file with a converter, they will let you try some programs for free for a few days but sometimes I wonder if it is worth it.

First you must put the DVD on your hard drive--I use DVDFab Decypter (go to www.dvdidle.com to download for free) and then I burn it with Nero using DVD Shrink.
