Hi,
What Israel sees in the children of Lebanon, is a future opposition to their country. As for the Women, they are seen as the future child bearers. As for the helpless elderly, they are viewed by the Israelis as dispensable, throw away human lives.
I have come to this conclusion from watching interviews with Israeli representatives eager to convince the World that their cause is pure, and that they are the innocent recipients of condemnation.
No, this is not about Hezbollah anymore. Hezbolla is Israels excuse to finally test their Military weapons that we the U.S.A., have provided them with, and to move forward with their war machine.
Our President Bush is as guilty as Israel for siding with them. Please remember, we are also a people who claim freedom, however, many in our Government are corrupt, and misleading to it's citizens.

Millions here are cheering for Lebanons people.
Peace be with you soon.

Do I support Israel no matter what? No, but I do in this case. It has the right to defend itself and ITS women and children against Hezbollah, which is trying to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Do I feel badly about the Lebanese dying? Sure! But that's what happens when you support terrorists and when the terrorists are so inhumane and cowardly that they use women and children as human shields. Israel would be more than happy to live a peaceful existence if your people didn't support it's eradication. And I didn't say a thing about those cowardly bastards hiding behind the civilians.

This is a great question, one that I brought up to a Jewish friend of mine. Mind you, my friend goes to serives only once a year, eats pork, and is so lax in terms of his religion that he is hardly more Jewish than I am (and I'm not). Today, we had a discussion about the innocent dying in Lebanon and my friend defended Israel to the depths of forever, completely avoiding any consequence or reason.

It is alright to feel for Israel, because Hezhollah fired the first shot. However, Israel has been handling the situation with far less tact than they could be. They have helped make a mess far bigger and worse than it would have been and their measures of seeking out Hezbollah are far too aggressive. There is no good vs. bad in this situation any longer.

All there is now is bad vs. less bad.

Lebanon, as one scholar stated on NPR today, "is the true victim." Women and children are dying needlessly as Israel seeks out Hezbollah. If they think that the deaths of these innocents is worth it, then that is their decision. I only hope that Israel possesses some sort of conscience as to how far they will go to destroy their own enemy.

Hezbollah IS THE CAUSE OF THIS WAR !!!
Israel didn't start it!!! the people in Lebanon can stop the terror but they don't do it !!! what you thing that Israel or ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD will sit back when you try to kill them??? Israel have no problem with Lebanon so why the start to attack??? and sometimes it's doesn't matter what the world think.

Where was the world in WW2??
six million bombarded Israeli citizens who serve as the voice of six million murdered Jews who were melted down to dust and ashes by savages in Europe. In both cases, those responsible for these evil acts were, and are, barbarians devoid of all humanity, who set themselves one simple goal: to wipe the Jewish race off the face of the earth, as Adolph Hitler said, or to wipe the State of Israel off the map, as Mahmoud Ahmedinjad proclaims.

And the world? - just as they did not take those words seriously then, they are ignoring them again now. And that, happen again. Never again Israel will wait for bombs that never came to hit the gas chambers. Never again Israel will wait for salvation that never arrives. Now Israel have their air force. The Jewish people are now capable of standing up to those who seek their destruction - those people will no longer be able to hide behind women and children. They will no longer be able to evade their responsibility.

Your people elected hezbollah into their government and in turn are responsible for their inaction which caused the current issue. Isreal is right in this case but is not always right (their handling of the Gaza situation is not right) Anyways If lebanon wants the bloodshed to stop they should take action and move their military in to help sweep out the terrorists.

I absolutely support Isreal, because they have endured attacks and abuse for many years from everyone in that area. Now they are retaliating. How many times do you think you can repeatedly bully someone before they snap and turn on you? Now the price is being paid for the abuses they have been made to suffer and everyone is crying foul. The Isrealites don't want to kill your innocent people, but if there is no other way to save their own, that's the price. The blame lies with those who push others around and with the people who watch it happen and are so gutless they cannot stand up and say "Stop. What you are doing is wrong." Henry Kissinger, commenting on the 9-11 attacks said, "Those who provide support, financing, and inspiration to terrorists are as guilty as the terrorists themselves." People need to understand that sometimes the only support you need to give for terror to continue is to stand back and ignore it. It makes the observer as guilty as the doer. Guilt by ommission is as bad as guilt by commission.

Do you ever wonder why the International Community hasn't come up with peacekeeping troops to send in to Lebanon to support your military? Are the Americans the only ones who can put together a peacekeeping force?

If the International Community really thinks Israel's response is disproportionate, they would commit troops to support the Lebanese government.

Haven't seen any yet... Have you?

I am really open minded. I beleive that both Governments are wrong. I feel bad for both sides civilians. That is who gets hurt mostly is the innocent ones on both sides. I do not beleive everything on Tv and most of us do not. We know the media feeds us they want us to think. We are brainwashed by propaganda and media sentiments on how Israel is. But overall to me it does not matter. I feel bad for the people no matter what country or nationality. It is all politics. I do beleive that Hezbollah is hiding amongst civillains but hey I am not there so how can I really know?

Lebanon harbored terrorists....now you will reap the whirlwind..so stop crying to the world.

Let Israel finish the job and cut the cancer of Hezbollah from your land and then there will be real peace.

Accept what must be done.

That would be a foolish position to take. No one is ever always right, no matter what.

I don't support Israel at all. Nor do I support Lebanon. I don't waste my energy on things that I have no control over.

BTW, I love your name. It sounds like you're rooting for a soccer team or something. Go Lebanon! Yay team!
