Which potty training pants do recommend using? Cotton underwear with rubber pants or the waterproof training pants?

I used cloth pants unless we were going out somewhere like a restaurant, and even then I did sometimes. if you wait until your child is truly ready to begin training, you shouldn't have a lot of accidents. they pick it up really quickly. also, the cotton pants let your child know he or she is wet, while the pullups just feel dry like a diaper.

Harleyman is correct!

If I am at home I'd go with the cotton underpants without rubber pants, that way that know they are going when the pee starts trickling down their legs and they can run to the potty or you can teach them to run to the potty. poop really is a pain to clean otu of the waterproof training pants and in fact I've thrown 2 away in the past week.

I'm having a time potty training my boy. Just telling you what messier for me.

If you are just starting the potty training get pull ups! Once the accidents are becoming more and more infrequent you can look at something thats non disposable. But you'll be doing alot of laundry if you use cloth training pants.

Also they have pull ups that get cool when wet to help with training, you might want to check into those.

Pull ups are great. I don't recommend the rubber pants--those are extremely uncomfortable. Cotton underwear is great too but only after they've mastered the toilet a little.
