I would call the ped because if you can not find anything wrong with her there may be an underlining problem.
BUT if the doc does say it IS teething you can use baby orajel, there are herbal teething tablet, baby tylenol, frozen fruits or frozen washcloth will feel good, or (LAST RESORT) you can even try rubbing some rum on her gums (my mom did with my sister, I do it with my daughter, and my doc even said she does it with her son).

Has your baby recently had MMR? My son was crying a lot, had a temperature and was generally grumpy about two weeks after his MMR. I was giving him Calpol and Nurofen for the temperature and this was helping him sleep. I though it was his teeth. On the third day he came out in a rash. I checked it with a glass and it wasn't meningitis, but I took him to the doctor anyway. She said it was a reaction to the MMR and as a result of this he had contracted german measles and mumps, she told me just to keep giving him the calpol and nurofen when needed. He was better in a few days. If I were you I would take the baby to the doctor, if it is ususally a happy baby. I don't think they cry for nothing and teething can cause all sorts, even if they don't give you an antibiotic at least they can (hopefully) let you know what is wrong. If they don't give you any answers keep going back and don't settle for "its a virus let it run its course"
Good luck.

Could be a number of things, ear infection, teething she has properly got a sore throat as well now. It could also be a phase she is going through. Ring your health visitor or take her to the doctors. If she has a temp or runs or constipated take her to doctors asap. My little girl done this for about 2 months, I was fit to drop when she finally stopped crying she would only shut up if I was carrying her couldn't sit with her had to be standing, so in that 2 months I was on so many pain killers cause my back was killing me my chemist knows me by my first name know. It will get easier. Good luck.

Teething is a big problem, a lot of the time its the nappy area giving them a problem. To much attention can also lead to problems, as hard as it sounds u need to ignore a lot of the crying. If you go in as soon as they start crying, they learn a very bad habbit. Can also check with the doctor if you think something is wrong. I was a git as a baby

could be teething but at 15months and you have had no problems up till now then maybe not. try increasing food at mealtimes, cause babys will have growth spurts and fairly major ones, however if baby still keeps crying, then talk to your health visitor. try to pinpoint when your baby cries, is it when you are not in the room, cause even little babes can miss mum/dad even for a few seconds it can seem like an eternity to them. reasurring babe with lots of cuddles will not spoil them as my mum used to think and lots of people still do, but give comfort to you and babe. try to treat this as a phase that baby will grow out of, difficult i know, but good luck from tina

did you by chance get the babies immunizations within the last few days? if so you need you get him to the doctor right away, something could be very wrong, a friend of mine had that problem and things did not turn out well. and whatever you do, do not let the docs tell you your overly concerned, your maternal instincts are always right. if it's not the shots, perhaps it's an ear infection, the doctor should be able to figure it out

It could be colic - my daughter cried like this when she was about 4 months old and it drove me up the wall - there is nothing so horrible as a baby crying all day.
Sorry, have read your question properly and the child is 15 months old - go to the doctor.....

Does it seem to be more when you are out of sight of your baby? Sometimes babies go through separation anxiety, even at home.
