You don't need two DVD drives to burn a movie on to a DVD. DVD Shrink will decrypt and shrink an copy protected DVD. The resulting movie is shrunk to 4.7GB or less. You can have the movie saved on to your hard drive. I believe you are at this step and don't know how to proceed.

First, download and install Nero Burning Rom, Nero version 6.6 Ultra Edition or Nero version 7 Ultra Edition will work. Since I have Nero 6.6, I will list the steps using this version.

1. Save the movie on to your hard drive.

2. You will need an account with administrative rights to burn the movie.

3. Start Nero by either starting Nero Express or StartSmart, the application you are going to use is Nero Express.

4. At the upper right hand corner, you will see a box and a small arrowhead to the right of it. Click on the arrowhead and the box will display all of the optical drives that Nero has detected on your computer. In your case, you should have only one drive. Regardless, click on the drive you want to use to burn the DVD.

5. There should be 4 choices displayed. Choose DVD-Video Files.

6. Click on [Add]. A new window will appear. Using the window, navigate to where you saved the video files. Choose the VIDEO_TS folder and click [Add] and then [Finish]. This should close the new window and bring you back to the orginial window.

7. Click [Next]. There are some options in the next window, you can name the DVD, choose how many copies to burn.... When you are satisfied, click [Burn]. Viola!

Convert x to dvd is probably the best program. I got nero w/ my dvd drive, but it was a pain in the *** to use so I switched this this program which is very user friendly and can do anything you need using minimal RAM. Get it at http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
