There is no magic food. What you need to eat is LESS FOOD. Period.

Eat more vegetables and lean protein (meats, fish, poultry, eggs) and a lot less carbohydrates (pasta, bread, rice, potatoes) and as little sugar as possible.

Avoid fast food and if you must, opt for something not fried and small portions.

The biggest thing you can do is eat LESS. Your fist is about a portion size of most foods, so use that as a guide when you look at your plate.

Other than that, make sure you drink lots of water (2 qts a day), avoid soda, and try to get as much exercise as possible.

Without exercise, you will not be able to manage your weight over the long run.

Eat more vegetables! Cooked, steamed, and especially RAW! This will give you fiber to clean out your insides and lose even more weight. Have eggs and fruit for breakfast, and for lunch and dinner, do the veggies. Salads, with boiled egg and grilled chicken, and all the veggies you want! Baked potatoes are ok but not with butter and sour cream. Sorry! And make sure to cook with olive oil. Not vegetable oil or butter. And check labels if you DO eat packaged food. If corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, or sugar is in the first 4 ingredients, DONT touch it! I dropped weight like mad just following that last rule, consistently, without cheating, for a few months. It transformed me! TRY IT!

Here is my suggestion. I am in the Army, and I constantly have to watch what I eat and how much I way (due to standards). I am also in the process of losing weight. All the things I am going to say have been things that I have been told or have learned in my process of losing weight. The best way to lose weight is to have a combination of eating right AND exercising. As far as foods are concerned, you need to eat low calorie, high protein, and high fiber. Foods such as eggs, fish, vegitables, and fruits are excellent foods, as well as chicken and pork. If you want to eat red meats, do so in moderation. Also, you need to look at how many calories you take in vs how many you spend. If your intake is more than your outgoing, then you need to either decrease the amount of calories or increase the amount of calories you burn. It is better on your body if you try to increase the amount that you burn first. I had to look at how much I was putting in vs what I was using. I adjusted my diet and have lost about 20 lbs. I still have a ways to go to where I want to be, but I have the means and the motivation to do it. I know that you specifically asked about foods to eat, but let me make a suggestion on the exercise part as well. Do mainly cardio (ie running or biking). I have found that running, as much as I might hate it, shows the best as far as results goes. But, don't just do one thing. Cause most likely you will get tired of the same routine and will stop doing it. Switch it up with different cardio, as well as some light weight training. The combination of eating right and plenty of exercise will help you start to lose the weight you want to lose.

You should eat what you want but don't overindulge or overeat, you can lose weight eating things you like just as long as you don't look to food as comfort, and as long as your diet consists of healthy foods (ex. homecooked meals, broiled or baked foods instead of fried). Another tip would to take your time eating, because sometimes we eat fast because we're really hungry and we're not giving our bodies enough time to calculate how much food you've consumed, which is why sometimes people may feel bloated, or "stuffed". AND Make sure you stay away from regular soda, or softdrinks, they contain LOADS of sugar and it turns right into fat, I recommend diet softdrinks if you feel like you can't live without soda. So, If you follow those basic guidelines, then off goes the weight.

Good Luck, Hope This Helps.

It's exceptional for each and every individual. It's no longer rather logical. I used to consume bananas and parmesan cheese (sprinkled on lettuce) and the ones meals are almost always on plenty of persons's hazardous record. Then once more, I might by no means consume yogurt or almonds (whilst I learned they had been seven energy each and every and 2 energy from fats, I felt extra betrayed than Jon Snow) however plenty of anorexics might entirely consume those. Generally an anorexic will uncover a couple of meals that they think they may be able to consume and element effectively, and feature bizarre obsessions with them. I might down packets of aspartame and binge on frozen corn (your frame cannot method the vitamins and minerals in that variety). A lot of anorexics will consume rice desserts, although I by no means might due to the fact that carbs. Diet Coke is an whole meals institution. Seriously, although it hurts like a ***** to swallow, you simply continuously down it. Obviously inexperienced tea, lettuce, celery is a colossal one.

Eat high fiber foods, like whole grain breads and pastas. The higher the fiber content the better it is for you. Also eat lots of fresh greens and fruits. Lean meat is also good. Drink lots of water. Many times people mistake thirst for hunger and eat more than they should.

The Glycemic Index based diets are supposed to be good. So is the South Beach. Atkins is okay, but lacking in fiber.

Stevia sweetened non-fat yogurt. You might have to go to Japan to get it though because the drug companies have bribed our government to ban the use of stevia, the only safe no-calorie sweetener, for use as a sweetener.

For a salady cereal type food, try sprouting wheat grains by soaking them for 2 days. You can have a rotating process system for soaking so you'll have some wheat ready to eat in time for each breakfast.

As the main thing, though, I recommend bean soup with a little rice. Season it with salt, red pepper, cumin, and cajun spice.

Better Question: what food should i eat less to lose more weight. Im not trying to be mean or anything but people that strive to lose weight all have one problem. They concentrate on eating less fat foods that they consume so much of it thinking that its notgoing to get them fat. REALITY CHECK: your actually putting so much less fattening foods than a good fat meal.
