My 10 year old son already had armpit hair? Its not much, but uts not peach fuzz either. Is this the age for that to start happening?

It's perfectly normal. He's going through puberty. My daughter's doctor told me that you know when it's starting when they start growing armpit & pubic hair. Also she told me that this is around the time when he'll start needing to wear deordorant if he's not already.

My son had the same issue and I asked his pediatrician. She said that armpit hair is actually produced from adrenal glands and had nothing at all to do with puberty. She said that pubic hair is the sign of puberty.

It is normal. My son started getting it last year when he was 9. Broke my heart to see my baby growing into a man!

Well he is starting pueberty early thats for sure, I my self started in the 5th grade and developed full facial hair by the end of 7th grade. Its nothing to worry about unless your son has drank radioactive water.

It's normal. He is hitting early puberty stages.

My nephew is 9 years old and also starting the early stages too.

Yes this is the age for all those hormones to be kicking in. My daughter is going thru some changes now physically and emotionally. It's draining me!! but with prayer and lots of amor I am hanging with her and trying to be there!!!

At least he's in the double digits. My eight year old per his pediatrician has officially started puberty. It completely freaked me out. Just be there to answer his questions.

10 is a little younger than some and a little older than others. Sounds fine to me. Good luck with puberty
