The salons want over 100 bucks to do my hair! Its got 3-4 different blondes in it, in a small weave. It takes HOURS to do it! Anyway, no time, no money for all that. Im going to go just one or two colors (pale blonde) but dont want it to look 'golden,' just naturally sun blonde. What is a good brand of hair color that I can get over the counter that produces good natural results, and will cover my light brown roots AND not make it look dark blond on the roots, bright on the ends. You know, consistent! I need suggestions! Thanks!

Anything by Loreal is great quality. I've been dying my hair for years with their products. Yes they're the most expensive but it's still far far cheaper than a salon and my hair is in very good condition.

Go to different salons, there are many different price ranges out there without taking the risk and doing your own coloring at home, especially when you have exisiting color already on your hair....I go a small place near me called grondins, found a wonderful stylist there who I ask for every time and it doesnt cost nearly that much .

You are better off going to a salon. I have dyed my hair at home many times and it always ends up fried. I would suggest finding a cheaper salon.

sorry it costs alot. but if you don't want a hair DISASTER then you should go to a salon. trust me i know. good luck on your hair. over the counter is reeeeally hard to get good and if you mess up your hair takes FOREVER to go back to normal color. i am STILL waiting for mine to go back and i have had it for like a year. so yeah. do the salon. sorry.

good luck! :)
