i have a computer that has been effected with spyware how do i remove this file from the computer it will not allow windows to work properly so i have to do it from safe mode

There are several programs you can use to remove spy-ware one is spybot-search and destroy, Ad-Aware, windows Defender and many more that are free or to buy in a store. It is important to use several because sometimes one just doesn't catch all the spy-ware that is out there. However you may also have a virus instead of just spy-ware. That would involve something else like an anti virus such as Norton (which costs lots of money and I wouldn't want to use anyways), or avast (which is free). And if nothing works I would back up all of the files that I could and reformat. Then with a clean install of windows I would install the spy-ware removing tools and a good anti virus. Or better yet I would buy a mac! :) Hope you get it all cleaned up! Good luck!

You should go to Lavasoft.com they have a good adware program that is FREE for personal use. After you download it, run a scan, and remove any "critical objects".

it gave me a lot of useful info... unfortunately I must've gotten a horrible one cus Im still infected. But try that site... it gives step by step info and lots of other good sites
