When was the last time you did any hitchhiking, and where were you going?

I went around Ireland in the late 80's. Very fun. Used to be fairly safe, as well.

In France, 4 years ago. I was with a friend who was 1m90 tall (6ft4), so that's why I did it fearlessly.

i only have hitchiked locally, up the hill, around the block kind of things. however, my dad hitchiked across the world. twice.
