I don't know if this is really "right," but it makes sense to me: Christians are people who have grown up in the church. Maybe they don't get excited about God anymore, and church is just going though the motions, or maybe they aren't the excitable type. Many Christians became Christians when they were young and probably don't remember actually giving their lives to God. Some people might consider themselves born-again if they commit to God for a second time.

Born again Christians rediscover God...they considered themselves Christians before, but they might not have been truly spiritual, might not have had a deep relationship with God. In any case, you can't be a born-again Christian if you've never been a Christian.

I would say that a Christian is someone who has over time either through friends, family or other needs become a christian without any pressure, ie they have done it from an early age. A born again christian I would say is some one that has no believe in the religion before and then all of a sudden has become relgious it maybe through fear of death, or some other outside means.

A person is either a Christian or they are not. The born-again thing is a way of revealing to others that not only are you a Christian, you LOVE being one.

There should be no difference. A born-again Christian is a superfluous description. All Christians are by definition born again. A change in vocabulary is much needed!

Anyone that follows the teachings of the Christ can be considered a Christian. Jesus said to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, You must be born again. He explained what is born of flesh is flesh but what is born of spirit is spirit. Our bodies do not enter Heaven , Our souls do. Receiving the indwelling of the holy spirit , is being born again.

However belonging to this group doesn't do it either. There are born again people in many denominations.

The joining of a church will save no one , but becoming a new creature who tries very hard not to sin and hiding the Bible in their hearts These are born again.

Jesus, when speaking to Nicodemus said, "...unless you become like a child and are born again you can not enter the Kingdom of Heaven..."

Many Evangelical Christians claim to have had a born-again experience, and some look down their noses at those boring Methodists who don't get hot and bothered during "worship time" - sometimes even claiming that they aren't "real" Christians or aren't really "saved".

The term supposed to mean christian: anybody that accepted Christ as his/her savior but not yet being baptized or could also refer to those that have christian as religion. Born again: those that have been baptized (water and holy spirit) - these are the "serious" christian. But in the reality some of the born again could also backslide and become just ordinary christian or become non-christian.

A True Christian is born again, just as Jesus said in John 3, you must be born again and unless a man be born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God. There are religions within Christendom who say you do not need to be born again. Trust what Jesus says and not them.

There shouldn't be a difference.
Anyone who is a Christian is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Jesus said that you must be born again (John 3:3).
The sad thing is that there are people who call themselves Christians but don't live it (only God knows their heart).
Some Christians add "born again" just to make it clear that they are following after God wholeheartedly.
